Perth has long been a centre for whisky, such as the famous grouse, dewars and bells. some distilleries are still in operation in the area, such as aberfeldy (http://www.dewars.com/lda...), tullibardine (http://www.tullibardine.com/) and glenturret (http://www.thefamousgrous...), however the ones in the city have now closed.

Caithness Glass

(http://www.caithnessglass...), at the top of the dunkeld road, is a visitor centre where all manner of glassware can be purchased. visitors can also take a tour of the factory, seeing glass blowing and other techniques in practice.
